The Fechter II level comprises three main elements:
- Demonstrating the ability to pass on knowledge.
- Completing the understanding of the Meyer Longsword syllabus.
- Demonstrating a more complete knowledge of the secondary weapons.

- Parry from High Guard 3 (against attacks by attacking the arm)
- Parry from High Guard 4 (against attacks by counterthrusting)

The students shall demonstrate their ability to fence using the principles from Meyer's system in the following conditions:
- Fight a 2 minute bout at slow speed showing control and flow
- Fight a 2 minute bout at high speed using fechtschule rules
- Fight a 2 minute bout at high speed using tournament rules
- Referee a 2 minute bout between peers
Bouts may be fought with the primary or secondary weapon.
