Response to an Oberhauw

Teacher Student
Vom tag, left leg forward Vom tag, left leg forward
Passing Step Oberhauw Passing Step rear right (in the manner of a Cross Step backward), cut an Oberhauw behind the Teacher's blade, increasing it's momentum and driving it to the ground.
Cross the hands to bar them below the blade (Sperren), then lead leg Gathering Step to the Teacher's left with a rising slice to their arms or face (Schneiden).

Response to a Zwerch

Teacher Student

Passing Step Zwerch Draw the lead leg back as a lead leg Stolen Step, cut and Oberhauw at the Teacher's strong into an Eisenport like position
Step back forward to the left and cut a swift Zwerch to the left of their neck, preventing them from cutting around with their own

Passing Step Mittelhauw Passing Step back, Oberhauw to Langort, striking the middle of the Teacher's blade to deflect it
Hold Langort and gather forward with a thrusting slice to the face.
