Response to an Oberhauw

| Passing Step Oberhauw | Passing Step rear right (in the manner of a Cross Step backward), cut an Oberhauw behind the Meister's blade, increasing it's momentum and driving it to the ground. |
| Cross the hands to bar them below the blade (Sperren), then lead leg Gathering Step to the Meister's left with a rising slice to their arms or face (Schneiden). |
