In his section on Beating Hutton describes this as an "Italian Parry", along with the High Octave.
Execution
- Raise the hilt to chin level and turn the edge upward
- The point should be depressed 6or 8 inches and be in front of the left hip.
- Don't bring the shell toward the body
- Look to the front over the right wrist.
