This is another name for Schranckhut.
Dagger
The crossed guard is the name for any guard position wherein the hands are held somewhat crossed over each other, generally at the wrist. This could plausibly done at low, medium and high arm positions. The arm on top in the cross can change depending on context, though right (dominant/dagger) hand on top appears more often.
Again the dagger grip can be reverse or orthodox.
