Cut 3 is executed thus:
- Stand in Medium guard
- Lunge on the lead leg and deliver Moulinet cut 3 to the opponent's inner thigh or knee on their right leg.
- Recover to guard
In some circumstances this cut can be given at the left cheek either above or below the sword, in either case cutting parallel to their blade.
