The danger cut is a Nachreisen cut; as soon as the opponent lifts to a high guard, the fencer cuts in through the face, beside their hilt.
It is called the danger cut because if you miss, you're in danger of their counter cut, so must be ready with leaning aside, evasions, and so on.
