Danger Cut

Dussack

The danger cut is a Nachreisen cut; as soon as the opponent lifts to a high guard, the fencer cuts in through the face, beside their hilt.

Meyer claims that one of the reasons it is called the danger cut is because if you miss you're in danger of their counter cut, so must be ready with leaning aside, evasions, and so on.
